Awards, Nominations and Accolades

  • Nana- A tale of us’ is the first fiction film from Nagaland to be screened overseas at Edinburgh Festival of Indian Films and Documentaries, Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2017.
  • Director, Tiakumzuk Aier won the Golden Calton Best Director 2017 award for the film Nana: A Tale of Us, at Edinburgh Festival of Indian Films and Documentaries, Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2017.
  • The film was also screened at Kolkata International Film Festival 2018 and Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival, 2019.
  • Nana- A tale of us’, bagged the Best Film North East Award at the Prag Cine Awards 2021 held on 30 January, 2021 at Guwahati in Assam.
  • Besides best film, some of the cast of the film ‘Nana- A tale of us’ were also nominated for various categories at the Prag Cine Awards 2021, namely:-
    • Mengu Suokhrie was nominated for best Actress in North East India,
    • Zhokhoi Chuzho nominated  for best actor in North East India and
    • Tiakumzuk Aier, nominated as best Director in North east India .
