18 January 2023: Nagaland Assembly Election 2023 Date Announced – Nagaland goes to polls on 27th February 2023

The Election Commission of India announced the date for Nagaland Assembly election 2023 on 18 January 2023.

The total number of voters in Nagaland 2023:

As per the finally published electoral roll, the total number of voters in Nagaland is 13,17,634, comprising of 13,09,651 general and 7,983 Service electors.

Number of voters marked as PwD, Third Gender and Senior Citizen (80+) in Nagaland:

  • Total PwD Electors: 6,970
  • Total Third Gender: 0
  • Total Senior Citizens (80+) : 36,403

Number of Polling Stations in the State of Nagaland for Assembly Elections 2023: 2315, an increase of 5.51% as compared to the Number of Polling Stations during Nagaland Assembly Elections 2018: 2194

  • Voting for assembly elections in Tripura to be held on February 16
  • Voting for assembly elections in Nagaland & Meghalaya on February 27.
    The results to be declared on March 2.
  • Besides, on 27th February 2023, by-elections to one assembly constituency each in Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and two assembly constituencies in Maharashtra will be held also.
