Mmhonlumo Kikon and Chuba Ao from Nagaland appointed National Level Office Bearers by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appointed Mmhonlumo Kikon as and Dr. Chuba Ao for National Level Office Bearers positions.
- Nagaland legislator Mmhonlumo Kikon (Adviser – IT, Science & Technology, NRE) was appointed as one of the BJP National Spokespersons along with 22 others.
- Dr. Chuba Ao, former president of BJP Nagaland state unit, was appointed as one of the National Vice-Presidents along with 11 others.
- Another from North East, Assam politician Dilip Saikia, was appointed as general secretary along with seven others.
