09 June 2022: PM hosts delegation of Women Students from Nagaland

PM Narendra Modi hosted delegation of Women Students from Nagaland at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi. The delegation were in Delhi as part of the National Commission for Women (NCW) initiative under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.  As per PIB report, the students discussed a wide variety of topics with PM like his vision for North-East, his experiences in Nagaland, importance of Yoga etc.

11 June 2022: Nagaland Police charge 30 soldiers for botched op that killed 13 civilians in 2021

Nagaland Police has named 30 Indian Army personnel in its charge sheet in connection with the 13 civilian killings which took place at Mon district of Nagaland on December 4, 2021, after the Army opened fire in a case of “mistaken identity”. The incident commonly known as Oting Killings.

The special investigation team (SIT), constituted by the Nagaland government to probe into the matter, named one Army officer and 29 soldiers in the charge sheet, which has been submitted to a court.
